On the 20th September, celebrate with us the 35th anniversary of the Erasmus+ programme. Meet European Commissioner Mariya Gabriel, Vice-President Margaritis Schinas and 35 Erasmus+ participants from all corners of Europe and beyond.

This is an excellent occasion to trace the path from the origins of Erasmus+ to what it has become today. To do so, founding team members Hywel Ceri Jones, Alan Smith, Angeliki Verli and David O’Sullivan will share their experience since the start, as well as their vision for the future.

Catch up with what happened

The anniversary event has ended, but you can watch a video series made by participants. 15 videos present what you might not know about Erasmus+, as well as the history of the programme.
