ESCI Service Desk now supports European Student Card

The ESCI Service Desk has expanded its service to the European Student Card. It now covers all the building blocks of the European Student Card Initiative, easily reachable in one place.

""

The ESCI Service Desk is the one-stop support point for the European Student Card Initiative and its building blocks:

  • Erasmus Without Paper (EWP) Network, including the EWP Dashboard
  • Erasmus+ App
  • European Student Card

Running since April 2022, the helpdesk has processed over 11,000 support tickets for users.

Services delivered

The new integrated helpdesk handles the following types of issues.

Support

  • information on implementing the European Student Card in their institutions
  • technical issues encountered while connecting and using the European Student Card Router
  • technical and non-technical queries about the EWP Network, the European Student Identifier and the Erasmus+ App

Reporting and IT

  • users and IT developers can submit bug or issue reports on any of the three ESCI building blocks for follow-up
  • users can suggest improvements or request guidance on implementation for digitalising their Erasmus+ admin

It is important to note that some questions cannot be answered fully by the Service Desk agents as they do not have access to in-house systems or systems of third-party providers. In these cases, service desk agents liaise with in-house and third-party service providers to facilitate the solution of issues.
