Building resilience and human capital for Ukraine's European future
20 projects highlighted in a new publication show how Erasmus+ is helping preserve and strengthen skills, knowledge, and partnerships in Ukraine.
Sustained support
Since the start of Russia’s war of aggression, Erasmus+ has played a key role in supporting education, training, youth and sport in Ukraine and across Europe.
More than 52,000 Ukrainians have participated in Erasmus+ mobility since 2022, while over €210 million has been mobilised to support projects involving Ukrainian organisations and participants.
A new publication, Learning, Connecting, Rebuilding, brings together 20 projects illustrating how this support has been implemented in practice. These projects span higher education, vocational education and training, youth, sport, school education and adult learning.
Recovery and reconstruction
The featured projects enable students and professionals to continue their studies, and they build capacities in key sectors such as healthcare, energy, and digital education.
Together, they show how Erasmus+ has helped build skills for recovery and reconstruction, support inclusion and social resilience, and strengthen institutions and European integration.
