Calls for funding are open to organisations and institutions every year.

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters

This year’s selected consortia are made up of organisations from 33 different countries, while another 57 additional countries are represented by associated partners.

The consortia that design and deliver these joint programmes involve on average 28 participating organisations (including associated partners) per proposal.

Once open, these programmes will be available to students from across the world, with EU-funded full scholarships also available. Their activities will contribute to the fourth pillar of the Union of Skills, which seeks to attract, develop and retain talent to bolster Europe's competitiveness and innovation capacity, including students from outside the EU. Each programme develops an interdisciplinary skills set designed for a career in a specific field for its graduates.

Erasmus Mundus aims to promote excellence and global reach in higher education through Erasmus Mundus Joint Master programmes.

These 37 new Masters will be added to the Erasmus Mundus catalogue, and will be opening for student applications in the autumn of 2026 to start programmes in September 2027.
