This survey is addressed to higher education institutions, Digital Officers in Erasmus+ National Agencies, student associations, Erasmus Without Paper software providers, student service providers, and national and institutional experts.

Your input will help identify priorities, challenges and future requirements for ESCI in the next Erasmus+ Programme (2028–2034).

Wider consultation

As the next Erasmus+ Programme approaches, it is essential to understand how the current ESCI components - Erasmus Without Paper, the Erasmus+ App and the European Student Card - could improve in the next Erasmus+ programme (2028-2034) to ensure they meet the current and future needs of the higher education community.

This survey is part of a wider consultation which builds on previous studies and consultation activities. It aims to consolidate and expand earlier findings to define future requirements and practical improvements for ESCI beyond 2027.

We’ll also be organising stakeholder workshops and targeted focus groups.

The input collected will support the development of sustainable and user-centred solutions, preserving what works well while improving how digital tools support mobility and cooperation between institutions, making ESCI more connected, integrated, designed for you.

What’s next?

The results of this consultation exercise will be consolidated into a shared overview of stakeholder needs for ESCI in the next Erasmus+ Programme and possible solutions to meet them. The findings will be presented at a conference in Brussels on 11 June 2026.
