72 new projects selected on international cooperation in vocational education and training
More than €26 million has been allocated to these 72 projects. They cover 78 countries and were selected from a record number of eligible and evaluated project proposals.
Erasmus+ is not just about student exchanges. Among many different actions, it finances capacity building in the field of Vocational Education and Training (VET).
Capacity building in VET aims to enhance the quality, accessibility and responsiveness of VET systems in countries around the world. It does this by reinforcing the capacities of VET staff and teachers, and the link between service providers and the labour market.
Global reach
This capacity building in VET action spans most of the globe, as it is open to
- all 27 EU countries
- 6 countries associated to Erasmus+: Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Türkiye
- countries in the Western Balkans, Neighbourhood East, Sub Saharan Africa, the Southern Mediterranean, Latin America and the Caribbean
Why VET organisations
The pivotal role of VET organisations means that they contribute to other Erasmus+ and EU priorities, particularly those related to the green transition, digital transformation and Global Gateway initiatives.
