European Student Card Initiative Champions

Higher education institutions and organisations recognised for successfully rolling out the main elements of the ESCI. They are selected by their Erasmus+ National Agency and the European Commission for a two-year mandate (2025–2027).

Ambassadors of the ESCI community

Role

  • share real-world examples and advice about implementing the ESCI
  • contribute to consultations and flagship events
  • organise peer-learning sessions locally, nationally or at European level
  • inspire their peers to embrace digital, student-centred mobility

Categories

Champions can be nominated in 3 categories:

  • Erasmus Without Paper (EWP)
  • European Student Card (ESC)
  • Champions of Excellence (outstanding in both EWP and ESC implementation)

ESCI Champions (2025-2027)

The newly appointed ESCI Champions will serve a two-year term.
