Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2021-27 – new call published

Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE)

The call has been published in the Official Journal of the European Union.

The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) provides the general quality framework for European and international cooperation activities which a higher education institution may carry out within Erasmus+.

Being awarded an ECHE for the 2021 – 2027 period is the entry ticket for all higher education institutions into the new Erasmus+ programme, whether you are a current ECHE holder or a new applicant.

The new ECHE will re-inforce many of its existing principles. It will strengthen the success of the existing programme and encourage more target groups to be included, especially individuals with fewer opportunities.

It will also include a commitment to work together to fully digitalise the administrative processes around managing mobilities, achieve automatic recognition of credits earned abroad, and make the programme more environmentally friendly.
